Stamps are often used by many people, especially for business purposes. It is one of the essentials in the office as it is required for many different occasions. Stamps declare the identity of the existence of an individual, an institution, or a company, usually on documents, specifically more important and formal ones.

As mentioned before, there are many uses of stamps around the office. Generally, a stamp is most often used as a tool that marks or symbolizes the authorization of a company on documents that are important, such as letters, contracts of agreements with clients or other business associates, contracts, and other correspondence or documents.

To put it simply, a stamp is almost like a signature. The two of them means agreement and they both hold a strong power of the person or organization that stamps the document. In a more formal sense, a stamp is a representative proof of a company or an organization and it is important because it has a strong legal power each time it is used to represent a company or organization, as well as an individual.

Of course, there are less formal uses of stamps. Stamps can be used for minor tasks, such as document organization or even for personal and creative use.

Stamps come in many different types and shapes. As there is no restriction on what stamp you should get for your personal or business use, you are free to choose whatever stamp you desire. But before making your choice, know these shapes of stamps and their different uses.

1. Round Stamp

A round type of stamp is the most common stamp and it is the type of stamp that is easiest to encounter. The round shape is often used by agencies, schools, and companies. It has a more formal appeal so it is more appropriate for formal agencies.

2. Oval Stamp

This isn’t much different from a round shape, only with a little bit of difference. The oval shape is often used by legal agencies such as government agencies, companies, and schools. They are basically just the same, only with more space to accommodate more words on the design.

3. Rectangular Stamp

A rectangular stamp is more rigid and as formal as the other two. It is less dynamic and can be used for any occasion.

Other than the shape of your stamp, you should also think about the type of stamp you want to use. Lately, more people use self inking stamp compared to the traditional Singapore rubber stamp. A rubber stamp is more convenient because it does not require a separate ink pad. A rubber stamp is as durable if not more, and it is easy to bring anywhere. It is usually made from plastic that is quite sturdy. Usually, there is a limitation to the shape of this type of stamp. This type of stamp mostly only supports rectangular shape. Despite its restriction, it has another advantage, which can produce a sharper and crisper image that is better than other types of stamps.
